About

Arts GrantWriting was founded as Arts Development Services by Debra Kramer in 2010 to raise private and public funding for art-based non-profits. She is responsible for researching and writing grants that increase annual revenues of small and mid-sized performing arts organizations. She formed partnerships with non-profits and private businesses that resulted in enlarging the constituency and increasing visibility for the organizations. Some of her past clients include the the Musical Theater Center (now called Adventure Theater MTC), Project Change, the Conflict Resolution Center of Montgomery County, the Housing Opportunity Commission of Montgomery County, and the Excel Beyond the Bell Program of The Collaboration Council of Montgomery County Maryland, among others.

Debra is the visionary and founder of Team of Stars, a camp and after-school program of Project Change. She is a successful grant writer whose proposals received funding from the Jim and Carol Trawick Foundation, Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County, the Polinger Family Foundation, the Mead Family Foundation, Montgomery County Government, Collaboration Council of Montgomery County (ExcelBeyond the Bell), Community Foundation of the National Capital Region, Macy's, and the arts councils of Miami-Dade County and Broward County, Florida, among others.

Arts GrantWriting will help you fulfill your mission. We are a team of experienced educators, choreographers, performers and administrators. Our background in the arts makes us uniquely positioned to assist arts organizations in their quest for financial support. We will collaborate with you to write grants that address your needs and stand out among the ever-increasing competition for funding. We work with performing arts organizations to plan and execute fundraising events, outreach programs, strategic plans, and most importantly, increase the budgets of these organizations.

Arts GrantWriting understands the economic difficulties of non-profit organizations in all stages of development, initial and established. We are happy to work with you to determine a price that fits your budget.
